Congratulations Jame, you appear to be one of the few people who've read my article and understood what it was trying to say. That patriarchal values and male violence underlies the majority of problems in the world today. Only your conclusion I disagree with though, yet again you appear to put the burden on women to 'enter' into a relationship with me, yet I think it is high time more men recognised how patriarchy and the celebration of male violence and power oppresses both men and women and entered into the path of feminism. Which is perhaps what you meant by your last sentence?

The social constructs and divisions of race are clearly drawn by those who hold and control religious, economic, and cultural power. So however much mainstream anti-racist discourse claims this is about race, or fear of `hijabs’ and `terrorists’, this is too simplistic. Scratch the surface and what is underlying racist fear and violence is an all- pervasive global culture of male power and domination. If people want to see an end to racism, and I certainly do, then we need to see an end to the celebration and perpetuation of patriarchal norms, values, and institutions. In the twenty-first century, to be anti-racist is to be feminist.

Like most true believers, Adele Wilde-Blavatsky traces the evils of racism and attendant violence to a single underlying cause: “a global culture of male power and domination.” The majestic cure for such worldwide human misery lies in the comprehensive and pure application of an infallible ideology called Feminism. Once Feminist; that is female grounded, “consciousness,” principles and practices supplant “male power and domination,” racism, violence and, by implication, most other forms of human evil will be eradicated forever from the face of the earth.

It seems more likely in the real world that women will enter into a power-sharing partnership with men and jointly exercise a range of species-specific behaviors that reflect the spectrum of history ranging from competition to cooperation; from greed to altruism; from injustice to justice; from war to peace.

"However, let’s not forget that Muslim women and children are regularly demonised, incarcerated, and oppressed by Muslim men at home and abroad."
