If that’s her best…
No, that’s not true.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

I don’t really think it’s cool for restaurants to tell people to get out because they work for Trump, but her claim that she does her best to treat people respectfully is horseshit. She’s an adult, she can control what comes out of her mouth, and what comes out is not always respectful. Just the other day she told Jim Acosta he has a hard time understanding even short words.

Ah yes, so she is. I overlooked that aspect. She named the restaurant and its location and specified the person – with all the might of the US presidency behind her. On Twitter. That’s way more not cool than telling her to leave.
Since when does openly and blatantly lying to people, even if on behalf of another, constitute treating them respectfully?
She might treat people politely, I’ll give her that. She is not the vulgar abuser that her boss is. But respectfully? No.
Not always even politely though. She does let fly with the insults at times.
Also that hostile scowl she always wears? As if reporters have no right to ask questions and none of us have any right to dispute her lies? I don’t consider that polite.
I’d have let her stay, but I would have told her that, given her track record of dishonesty,she would have to pay in full before being served. With any luck, she would have left of her own accord.
That is an excellent way to do it.

I always try the neighbor test: if this person lived next door…. I would find her rude, shallow, and repulsive. People don’t develop relationships on dishonesty. I am pretty sure Sanders, like Trump, considers me less human than they are. The reverse is not true.
