Also…Leader McConnell? With the handle @senatemajldr? Is that clever? Does he really want to have to start a new account when he’s no longer the leader? Plus there’s the whole duce/führer thing. “Leader” as an official title has a certain ring to it now. I know it is the official title in the Senate, but that doesn’t mean he has to advertise it. I checked, and Nancy Pelosi on Twitter is just Nancy Pelosi @NancyPelosi, not Speaker Pelosi @housespkr.
Anyway. Rick Scott is not yet a member of the incoming class of Republican Senators, and we don’t know that he ever will be.
Sure he will. Trump has declared that we have to go with what happened on election night, so he can just unilaterally declare Scott a Senator, and everyone can like it or lump it!
More seriously, I don’t hold out much hope that the recount will change things, because I don’t hold out much hope that it will honestly report the results if the “wrong” person is elected.
That picture seems very, um, monochromatic.
There’s also the fact that machine recounts almost never change the results.

Talking of perspectives, I am always simultaneously amused and infuriated by what seems to be the usual perspective provided by Fox news chats: one large male member centre-stage, flanked by four pairs of carefully crossed female legs.
I do not like the image this brings up, at least not in the context in which it is presented here.
