All that time and effort building a mock execution devise to intimidate women – I’d hide my face too. The “White Feminism Ain’t Shit” placard does confuse me. I thought current orthodoxy was that “White Feminism is Shit”.
I’m left wondering whether white anti-feminism is meant to be more than shit, or less than shit.

What’s “white feminism”? And why is that white woman opposed to it?
White feminism is any feminism not sufficiently woke. (By the way, that would include a lot of black feminists, and probably quite a few Latina feminists, as well). White feminism…western science…western medicine…put a label on it that implies it is imperialist, racist, xenophobic, and, oh, yes, of course, transphobic, and you don’t have to do the hard work of actually demonstrating that it is (1) imperialist, racist, xenophobic, or transphobic; and (2) wrong. You don’t have to put up evidence for your own position, which is good, because they don’t have any evidence for their own position. You just have to shout ‘white feminist’ (by which they actually mean “old feminist” – i.e., anyone who has matured out of their woke years into a more nuanced and realistic version of the world), and they are automatically self-righteous, superior, and worthy.
And that white woman is opposed to it because she is more woke than thou. She doesn’t see herself as a white feminist, because white feminist actually means “old white feminist”, and she is not old. She is woke. And old is not woke. Woke is not old.
What our campuses need is a solid dose of critical thinking. I would suggest they start with a small book I read once titled…let’s see, what was it?….oh, yes. It was Why Truth Matters.. I think some of you may have heard of it. ;-)

Sackbut, that is probably the technical meaning of the term, but most of the time I see it used to dismiss all claims of gcf because they are “white”. For most of the woke generation, the term “white feminist” is synonymous with “old” and “second-wave” and “not woke”. Never mind that a great many of us did address forms of oppression faced by women of lesser privilege; never mind that many of the women that are not sufficiently woke for the TRAs are themselves not white; never mind the truth at all. Just call us “white feminists”, and you have won the argument. Nothing more needed.
I don’t disagree, I just thought the different framing (and the Wikipedia link) would be helpful. The “sin of omission” aspect – women are not allowed to talk about themselves, they must always keep other groups in explicit mention – comes up often.
I agree with your assessment of the term. It’s awful.

Misgendering or deadnaming a trans person = Violence.
