And my son’s environmental science teacher in college told his students that, because parts of Antarctica are gaining ice, that is proof there is no global warming.
And my school is destroying the environmental science class altogether and turning what remains over to a teacher with no environmental science credentials who is a global warming denier. They’re talking about jettisoning my section of the class altogether, and I am the only instructor they have with a degree in the subject, and experience in the field.
Knowledge and expertise in nearly anything is a threat to the agenda of the Ignorami, as anything they want to do is going to be considered a bad idea by anyone with some idea about how things work. They don’t want anyone saying they can’t spin straw into gold, or that destroying the Earth is a Bad Idea. Results are to be judged solely on how how much richer a course of action is going to make people who are already rich, since that’s the only result that matters.
