In several phone calls last weekend from the presidential suite at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Mr. Trump shared an idea he was considering: When he left the hospital, he wanted to appear frail at first when people saw him, according to people with knowledge of the conversations. But underneath his button-down dress shirt, he would wear a Superman T-shirt, which he would reveal as a symbol of strength when he ripped open the top layer.
Very adult, very sensible, very even keel, very normal and ok.

His heroic return from Walter Reed would have been more dramatic, if instead of his combover, he had a big red cape waving in the rotor wash of Marine 1. :P

I’m usually just disgusted with Trump but this one really cracked me up. They had to talk him out of doing it, and they couldn’t even try and hide behind something like “it would damage the economy” or “that would be incest” or “Putin will have your guts for garters”. Someone had to convince the president of the USA not to dress up as Superman. I bet that’s not in anyone’s job description.
