This is horrifying to watch – more so than I expected. It’s “in effigy” so I didn’t think it would be all that disturbing, but I was wrong.

See? These men are not out of work, down on their lucky, angry working class men. These are men who have a strong sense of entitlement, probably doing fine at work, and love Trump because he is such a nasty beast. (I don’t know that, of course, but I know a lot of people just like them, both in Nebraska and Oklahoma, who feel they should not have to work with women, black people, gay people, or anyone else that is their inferior, and love it that Trump tells the “truths” they believe in.)
I can feel sorry for the working class people who are scared and uncertain; they have been mislead into believing this spoiled millionaire speaks for them. I cannot feel a single twinge of sympathy for these men; they are angry only because they have to allow other people to share “their” country.

Most appalling to me was the row of baby strollers next to this display. But I suppose that’s to be expected. Those old photos of lynchings and public executions from 19th and 20th centuries were family-values entertainment too.
Pliny, gotta train ’em young, or they slip out of your grasp and become…gasp…liberals. (Broadly defined, of course.) My parents never took me to a lynching, even in effigy, and look how I turned out…black sheep of the family, unable to work up a good hate for Obama, and willing to allow other people to have the rights I enjoy. And willing to demand that I, even as a woman, get to enjoy the same rights as the men of my family.
Yep. Gotta get ’em young. “Give me the child…” and all that.
