Here’s the video where he giddily tells us he’s going to go outside and visit the fans…he the highly infectious patient is going to skip through the hospital – where he’s been meeting soldiers and first responders, he says, despite that whole HIGHLY INFECTIOUS thing – skip through the hospital and jump in a sealed car with some agents and do what he can to spread the virus even more.
If only this were happening in the real world.
It’s so bonkers and evil I can’t deal with it (except by posting about it until my fingers drop off).
OB: I think I can speak for the general consensus around here. Please get your priorities right. You fingers are far too valuable to be sacrificed on the altar of some stunt by Trump.
Ok Ophelia, this might help. You need to keep this in mind at all times: Trump will do whatever is the dumbest , most ill-advised, and most self-absorbed thing possible in a given situation. The worse the situation, the dumber it has to be. So, if you are him, infected with a highly communicable pathogen, you have to drive around infecting people. It’s his way. I mean he has undermined all efforts to limit the spread, why would he not do the same with quarantine? Tomorrow, he’ll probably have a new snide name for the virus.
He doesn’t look or sound like he’s ill… in fact he sounds more like a normal person than I have ever heard him sound… like? (Sorry about that sentence. Me not word so good today)
Catwhisperer: Is it really so surprising that Trump begins to seem normal, at least on the surface, if you dial him down a few notches? (Well, a lot of notches, really.)
And on the preservation of fingers, not to mention minds: It really does require some effort to stay sane these days. Maybe we could start by wishing Trump well?
