States that voted Trump get what they need. States that didn’t vote Trump can just choke on their own blood.

Doesn’t he realize there are Trump voters in those states? In every state?
This is absolutely a crime. It is murder.
It’s not unprecedented for people to vote against their own self-interest if it results in the punishment of those they percieve as opponents. I think this has been the case for a large segment of the Reublican base for quite some time. I’m guessing, though, that few of them would have had any inkling that this arrangement would include inconvenience unto death. They shall become, ready or not, willing or otherwise, human sacrifices for the greater glory of their Leader.
Maybe they’ll see things a little differently now that the cement shoe is on the other foot. Maybe they will expand their idea of who gets to be considered a “Real” American enough to include all Americans.
Trump may be looking at this in a couple of ways. In the short term he couldn’t care less for Republican voters in blue states because their votes don’t affect him. The ones he wants to keep alive are the ones that won him states last time and will do so again next time.
In the longer term, when he can get back to his rallies, in red states he can claim all the credit for sending them everything they asked for and more besides. He’ll be the hero of the hour. In the blue states he’ll spin it to claim that the Democrat leaders failed to secure what they needed to save lives, and he’ll point to Republican states as examples of what ‘good’ leaders achieved. In fact, never being one to tell a small lie where a larger one can be spun, he’ll likely twist it so far as to claim that he offered all the assistance but the Democrats played partisan politics and refused assistance because they’d rather see dead Americans than accept help from the Donald.
The scary thing is, there are probably enough people on both sides who will believe him that it might just secure him a second term. Unless he decides to play it safe and use the national emergency clause to suspend the election indefinitely, that is.
