Two women judges working for the Afghan Supreme Court have been shot dead.
They were killed by unidentified gunmen on their way to work on Sunday. The deaths are the latest in a string of assassinations targeting journalists, activists and other political figures.
The women were shot dead in an early morning ambush, which also saw their driver wounded.
The incident happened in the Qala-e-Fathullah area of Kabul and no group has said it carried out the attack.
No group has said it carried out the murders.
Why do you assume they were cis? TWAW, smite?

That’s easy; if they had been trans there would be massive outrage, with hundreds – if not thousands of TRA’s descending on Kabul as we speak to harass and harangue the Afghani government, police and military for allowing such rampant transphobia to flourish: they’d be putting on their slinkiest dresses and most fuck-me-heels ever and looking senfuckingsational as they parade around the city chanting the mantra.
Well, they would, but it’s a long way to go and with Covid restrictions on travel it’d be a nightmare getting there, and besides, they don’t really speak the language and they only bully women anyway, and it would be sooo racist to shout at those brown-skinned people. Best stay home and fire off more nasty tweets to those evil white, middle-class, educated women – you know, doing the truly brave activism.
Maybe we should tell the TRAs that being murdered for being female is a special club they can’t get into.

Yes, iknklast, but still, they’re murdered only for being trans, not for being women. Even their murderers don’t recognize them as women. They deserve to be murdered for being women, JUST LIKE CIS-WOMEN. Ffs.
Similarly, cis-Black people don’t realize how privileged they are, that they get murdered FOR BEING BLACK. Trans-Black people get murdered all the time, but not FOR BEING BLACK. Even their murderers don’t recognize them as Black.
