The anti-democratic conspiracy theory has been bubbling up in fringe conservative media for several months. It has no basis under the Constitution or any legitimate legal framework.

Lindell has said August is when he would go to the Supreme Court to present evidence he’s acquired that would be so convincing that the justices would be forced to reject the 2020 election result.
Yes that’s right, that’s what will happen. He’ll go to the Supreme Court and knock on the door and when they let him in he’ll show them his evidence and they will get right to work and “reinstate” the orange criminal.
That’s so crazy that even Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito might say no.

At this point though, my understanding is the only ways to remove Biden as President are impeachment, 25th Amendment, or at the point of a gun. Michael Flynn notwithstanding, I can’t see the US military suddenly deciding to support a coup. At least not on US soil.
Here’s how you can tell he’s intentionally lying to gin up support: if he was truly convinced he had evidence that the US election was truly overthrown, he wouldn’t wait til August.
If you have the evidence, why wait until august? If you don’t have the evidence, how do you know you’ll have it in august? How are you so certain at all? This is just ‘I’m going to release the kraken’ all over again. Just blowing hot air.
And it’ll convince a huge number of the Trump cultists who have already forgotten all the other hot air and passed deadlines, because that’s how cultists are.
