Some academics are not happy about Kathleen Stock’s OBE.
Says, as usual, a man complaining about a woman getting recognition for defending the rights of women. It seems like only yesterday that men who wanted to be seen as progressive at least pretended to understand that women are a disproportionately vulnerable segment of society.
They seem so happy that now they don’t have to any more.
William Clare Roberts has locked his account since posting his rage, so an image has to do.
Women are the enemy, yeah? Let’s hope they all rot.

It was a “back and forth,” which meant a bunch of women were disagreeing, being told why they were wrong, and then coming back with reasons why that reason wasn’t sufficient. “Vitriolic” doesn’t half describe it — shrill, bossy harpies, is what they were.
I do hope Dr Bodie A Ashton et al will remember to turn down any future awards or honours they are nominated for related to “services to HE”; given that the criteria apparently includes not having made HE a more hostile place for colleagues.
