I guess Strangio has access to the minds of all people who identify as trans, and thus knows all their thoughts and where the thoughts came from. Must be a lot to keep track of.
Given that even suicide can be spread by social contagion, it’s a bit early to rule it out for “transness.”
Oh, my. Do I sense that Strangio is an adherent to the notion of “real” vs. fake trans people? This is an onion worth peeling, because if so, it’s going to cause his trans “rights” battle no end of trouble. You can’t go around screaming that being trans is some inherent part of one’s being that must be recognized in law and also simultaneously say that one of the fundamental arguments of the pro-trans lobby that they use to explain how otherwise normal children suddenly find themselves in the wrong body is a sham.
It shouldn’t be any more difficult for them to rationalize and explain than the Real Presence, or the Trinity.

Not only that, given the ease with which they brand everyone else as “cis,” they somehow magically know we are all “comfortable” and “in alignment” with the patriarchal, sexist, gender stereotypes associated with our sexes. Who knew?
