Go for both!
Sure. It’s just like mixing chocolates with nuts and chocolates without nuts. It’s like wearing a red shirt and black jeans. It’s like reading Pride and Prejudice one day and Middlemarch the next.

Remember those TV comedies that used to create dark humour out of having Doctor characters that were actually hideously incompetent?
Dr. Nick Rivera on “The Simpsons”, Dr. Wordsmith on “Arrested Development”, and Dr. Spaceman on “30 Rock”?
“If you want a mixture then go for both!” sounds like something these quacks would say.
I’m glad to hear they have no side effects.
Why not Zoidberg?
Oh yes, mustn’t forget Zoidberg….
The joke, going back at least to the first Trump presidency, is:
George Washington: I cannot tell a lie.
Richard Nixon: I cannot tell the truth.
Donald Trump: I cannot tell the difference.
I was going to comment this on the post below, about Trump’s use of photos from the Congo — but it seems to apply equally well to Helen Webberly as to Trump.
Ladies, if you want pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence including frequent toilet visits and bed-wetting, bowel issues including constipation or being unable to hold stools or wind in, and an enlarged, painful clitoris resulting in sexual dysfunction, then have testosterone as your main sex hormone.
Gents, if you want loss of sexual function, cognitive impairment, depression, and earlier dementia, then have oestrogen and progesterone as your main sex hormones.
If you want to be truly messed up and shorten your life then go for both!
How to make a proper Gin and Hormonic:
-Fill a tall glass up to 2/3 with ice.
-Add 4 cl. gin.
-Fill the rest of the glass with any combination of homones you -prefer.
-Rub a slice of lime around the edge of the glass.
-For an extra touch, add a large mint leaf.
-Stir gently and serve.
Enjoy! :D
You’re welcome
Webberly’s breathless, enthusiastic confidence reminded me of this:

Dear Dr. Webberley,
I have some surprising news for you.
People are not “in” their bodies. People are their bodies. People aren’t souls contained within fleshy vessels, no matter how you call the soul.
I wish more people would realize this. For too many people, this is considered reductionist, and like discrimination, exclusion, and other “bad” words, is immediately assumed to be negative. In many cases, reductionism can be simply neutral. In other cases, it might be necessary.
Perhaps if I had been giving this message earlier in my life, rather than having to come to grips with it in my teens and twenties, I might not suffer from the body dysmorphia that has given me so much grief.
For anyone who can use the BBC Sounds app (I think it might be UK only?), the Tavistock documentary has a whole episode on Webberley. Never have I heard anyone so cheerfully unhinged.
Ya, not available in my location alas.

Ok I’ve had a look because I remembered that it’s not actually a BBC production, it’s one of a number of podcasts under the title “Tortoise Investigates” and they can be found at Tortoisemedia.com. Disclaimer! I don’t know who the hell they are, but it turns out they own The Observer. So between the BBC and a newspaper I recognise, I’m guessing it’s not some kind of russian propaganda outlet, or something (can’t make any promises though!).
I won’t hold you to anything!
