Right. And women go out of the house thinking,
“Is this the day a man is going to kill me?”
“Is this the day that an entitled man is going to rape me in what’s supposed to be a women-only space?”
“Is this the day I’m going to become an involuntary porn actor with my image permanently on the internet, because men were allowed in women’s spaces to set up hidden cameras?”
“Is this the day that a male player will severely injure me when he participates in women’s sport?”
“Is this the day that my prison sentence includes rape and/or impregnation by a LARPing man in my cell/unit?”
Shouting at you is SO MUCH worse!
And of course physical safety is just the bare minimum. In a sane world you shouldn’t have to ask yourself:
”Is this the day when something I once wrote on the internet, that was considered blindingly obvious and uncontroversial when I wrote it, will resurface and destroy my life?”
”Is this the day I will lose my job for still knowing what we all used to know ten years ago?”
”Is this the day the police will show up at my door for saying something that could be taken to imply that only women can get pregnant?”
”Is this the day my name will be pulled through the mud all over the internet for saying something that could be taken to imply that men cannot be lesbians?”
Etc. etc…
I’m not dead, just hacked. Hoping to be back in a couple of days.
Not that you’ll see this, without me to approve it, bur anyway…
Or I guess you will see it. Hackers eh.
Ah didn’t think of looking at the comments. I was getting anxious when there weren’t any updates. Glad you’re not dead!!
Interesting… My site has been experiencing technical details that prevent me from logging in. A whole bunch of Trump Pope funeral content is just spoiling on the vine…
I have finally met GeekSquad.
