Only emphasising the need
It’s so strange when men think they will stop us from being feminists by telling us our rights don’t matter. Don’t you see you are only emphasising the need? It’s like thinking you can stamp out socialism with the message that poor people should know their place.
I like the quote, but it will fall on deaf ears if the men are claiming that the rational, scientific, and honest fact is that they are women. They’ll simply translate it to “It’s so strange when feminist women try to stop women who only think they’re feminists by telling them all women’s rights matter. Don’t you see it only sends me into a bigoted rage?”
