Well…ok, but…isn’t he still our trans sibling? I mean she – isn’t she still our trans sibling?
Trans people are the most vulnerable people of all, don’t forget.
Being trans is the equivalent of being 172 women in terms of who has the most Oppression Points.
So, you know, little quirks like trying to get into the pants of underage girls become just another way trans women are fabulous and also more vulnerable than anyone else by miles.
They sure don’t look oppressed to me. I’ll have to take their word for it. Or not.
I’m vaguely surprised the Greens managed to avoid falling into the old ‘the little girls were hussies who led she/him on’. That’s something I guess?
It’s important to stress ‘not all trans’. It’s also important to note that the percentage of trans who overlap with the NAMBLA types and lean into pedophilia is not negligible. Opportunistic men, whether pedophiles, garden variety rapists, trans or not are the precise reason for defending women only spaces. The incidence may be low, but why permit any risk? It bemuses and infuriates me that so many people don;t get this. Like with women’s sports. So many people just shrug and start talking about kindness and fairness.
