Humza Yousaf threatens and abuses us

But don’t worry, you have nothing to fret about, unless…

Yes but sir, you and your friends consider it “threatening” and “abusive” and “stirring up hatred” to say that men are not women. That means women in the UK have everything to worry about.

You smug fucking idiot.

“Unless your behaviour is threatening or abusive and intends to stir up hatred yadda yadda”.

Which is all well and good until you get to the part about who gets to decide what is considered threatening, abusive, etc.. I’m also curious as to how they’re going to prove intent. Maybe The Horde had a hand in writing the law, adding an ‘Intent ain’t magic, cupcake’ clause.

It’s simply a rerun of the old “If you’ve got nothing to hide …” trope we hear so often to support draconian laws.

It isn’t that I have anything to hide, it is because I am innocent I have nothing to prove.

And, with this mess of Scots Law, I do not intend to cause harm*, but I cannot know how any single individual you respond to the things I write or say. Dog knows a few of my more recent comments have upset people right here, but we all seem mature enough to disagree and move on.

    * However, just like proving there is a teapot behind the Moon, the only way a complainant can “prove my intent” is to rely on the same foundation as “Self ID”, and that is to place feelings above all else.

I recall when my brother got married having a chat with his new FIL – a Police Sargent. He very much wanted Police powers expanded to include quite draconian elements and essentially placing Police as being he arbiters of guilt “because they know”. He actually used the ‘nothing to hide nothing to fear’ justification. Sheesh.
