Mess
This is disgusting. You have to lean in to hear what he says – and what he says is nausea-inducing.
Days after a Minnesota state lawmaker was killed and another was injured in a “politically motivated assassination,” President Donald Trump said Tuesday he would not call the state’s governor, eschewing a traditional presidential response to tragedies.
“Why would I call him? I could call and say, ‘Hi, how you doing?’ The guy doesn’t have a clue,” Trump said, referring to Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, who was the vice presidential contender facing off against Trump’s ticket last year. “He’s a mess. So I could be nice and call, but why waste time?”
He does actually say that.

Well, in a way it may be a good thing that he did not make the call, for there is no way he would be able to say any of the things a president should be saying in that circumstance. In all likelihood, the phone call would be worse than no phone call. Way worse.
Something that most people can manage – making polite noises in a professional context – is just so beyond that foul creature. His voice is usually my signal to switch off the radio, but I did catch sight of him on the news, with that weird thick-layered face, which makes him look like an alien trying to blend in with humanity, and that who-gives-a-shit delivery saying that he might war against Iran, or he might not – and again just gasp at those 70 million who voted for him.
