I am sick to death of the paradigm that accepts white male anger as a justified reaction to the frustrations faced by the group of people that runs everything (that is my paraphrase, not how most people put it), but those groups who don’t run things and often aren’t even allowed in the clubhouse, are vilified and scorned for getting angry about bad things. So the angry woman is a distasteful idea, and the angry black man is a distasteful idea. Angry youth is somewhere on the fringes; if the youth is a conservative white male, he is entitled to be angry (because white men are entitled to everything, I guess). But if he is black or liberal or both, he is not entitled to be angry. He must be polite and kind and wait for the world to decide to give him stuff. If the youth is a woman, same thing. Smile, pour the tea, and take what we offer.

Do it! Get that pug. I mean, you’ll be disappointed if you expect it to sink its useless little teeth into anyone’s throat, but for a bit of cheering up, there’s nothing better. I got one three years ago, and I’ve been off anti-depressants for two-and-a-half of those. Pugs have powers :)
