   And did you catch the sheer awfulness of the speaker he foisted onto the poor congregation? A ‘messianic jew’ i.e. christian, who spent much of the time praising and urging support for Republican candidates currently in election battles.

   Holms, did Trump do the rabbi thing too, or have you mixed up Trump’s visit with Pence’s rally prayer-leader?

   US Vice-President Mike Pence faces controversy after a cleric whose views are shunned by mainstream Jews led prayers for victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.

   Rabbi Loren Jacobs appeared at a Republican rally in Michigan where he described Jesus as the Messiah and did not name the victims of the attack.
