Living within brackets

I’m not the only one (we’re not the only ones) in a towering rage.

That, what Victoria said. That’s what I meant by the strangled yowl “without ‘woman’ IT MAKES NO SENSE.” If you remove “woman” wtf are you even talking about? Just random incidents floating past, not systematic subordination of a specific category of people.

Yeah, the decision whether or not to bear a child had about as much bearing on my life as the decision whether or not to move to Andromeda. Regardless of my desires, neither was happening.

On the other hand, the decision whether or not to impregnate a woman (with her permission) was pretty central.

I’ve heard Andromeda is nice this time of year.

I’m slightly amazed that nobody in the ACLU could see the own-goal irony of an organization allegedly dedicated to, amongst other things, freedom of speech, fucking around with someone’s words, and doing it in such a way as to completely erase the entire point her original intent.

Being unable to differentiate between a male and female is a trans problem, not a “cis” one. No amount of bullying will change that.

Surprised they used brackets. I’d have expected them to doctor the quote and pretend they hadn’t.

    John,

But then how would everyone know?

I suspect that’s kind of the point.
