Those who criticized Stalin back in the day were told they were on the “wrong side of history”, but those saying that were in fact the ones who were wrong about Stalin. Stalin used terror to rule, and those who now bully and threaten gender-critical feminists and others who aren’t supportive of the “Trans Women are Women” party line are also happy to use vicious means in support of their desired ends. If universities don’t stand up to the bullies now, you can be sure that other smelly orthodoxies will mobilize their own twitter mobs to get their way, and in fact already are.
