It is a minor, almost trivial point to observe that Thomas is clearly not deriving nearly as high a percentage of thrust from leg movement as the competition. Leg movement is barely visible in the wake, compared to many of the competitors. Elite swimmers develop enormous power from their kicks, even elite male swimmers with incredible power from the upper body like a Phelps have a marked pulse from the kick.

“Why isn’t everyone there booing?” — My guess is that it’s a postmodern lack of principles coming from an indifferent and decadent society rife with narcissistic cowards. The inaction of the people who have the power to do something about this, yet stand by and do nothing, are just as fraudulent and perverse as Willy himself is.

Ay, there’s the rub, Naif: little Willy isn’t an elite swimmer. He couldn’t win against elite male swimmers. The women in the pool are working harder than he is, and if they had his physical advantages they would all beat him.

    And they all know it.

If he had used his legs properly he would have won by 30 sec+, just like in his first (?) meet as a ‘woman’. That would hae been too blatantly obvious. The womenn were robbed.
