Merde

Just plain evil. (Folksy evil, down home evil, evil that disguises itself as perky & outspoken.)

This is a member of Congress taunting a survivor of the Parkland mass murders. It’s vomit-inducing.

One of these two people has class. I’ll leave you to figure out which one.

More big scary words from MTG. So do Americans become defenseless from more gun control, or less? Suppose we ask the survivors of gun violence victims. That’s some stunning illogic.

iknklast, obviously you mean MTG. I mean, hiring Milo Yiannopolous as an intern has got “classy” written all over it.

    and leave Americans defenseless.

    Defenceless against whom, exactly?

Not from other countries. The United States has more weapons than the next several dozen armed forces added together.

Not from tyrannical government. MTG was all in for January 6. Okay, well mostly in, but she was fine with it, and would have been more than happy if it had succeeded. So tyrannical government is fine so long as she’s one of the tyrants. Ditto with her supporters. She’s only concerned for Real Americans. It’s those Others, those Less-Than-Fully-Americans she’s worried about, the ones with darker skin, and the wrong ideas in their heads. The ones who take a knee at the Star Spangled Banner to protest lethal policing against Black Americans. Those are people her projection doesn’t want to face unarmed, because they figure they have it out for her the way she has it out for them.

I might have posted this link on another recent post related to gun violence in the US.

In any case I think it needs to be read by anyone wondering what might be politically possible to do about that problem.
