LGBTQ Nation insults women not once but twice…or probably even more than that, I haven’t checked the whole list yet.

Secretary Levine is a man scooping up plaudits for being “the First Openly Transgender Four-Star Officer and First Female Four-Star Admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.”

Why is he a nominee? For having it both ways? Being first ever trans and first ever female? The fact that he’s trans=he’s not female. If he were female he wouldn’t be trans.

Stealing women’s firsts and getting counted twice; quite a racket.

    I understand that in the military, stolen valor is a taboo. Someone should remind Levine so he declines the honor if he wins it.

    Mike, maybe your comment was being ironic, but LGBTQ Nation aside, Ophelia’s link to scooping up plaudits says [emphasis mine]:

    So he accepted both honors in 2021:

    “I am humbled to serve as the first female four-star officer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and first openly transgender four-star officer across any of the 8 uniformed services. This is a momentous occasion and I am pleased to take this role for the impact I can make, and for the historic nature of what it symbolizes. May this appointment be the first of many like it as we create a more inclusive future.” U.S. Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Health, Admiral Rachel Levine

    That HHS press release does not make me mad at him so much as it makes me mad at everyone at HHS who went along with calling him female.
