Eccentric skepticism

Roger Pielke’s claim to fame is as a Climate SkepticTM.

But now he’s deploying his skepticism on a different subject – the crazy wacky delusional idea that men are not women.

Saying men are men is “a denial of the reality of transgender people.”

So climate change is a fraud but men claiming to be women is reality.

We could actually agree that it’s wrong to “deny reality” when it comes to transgender people! He’s skating on pretty thin ice there. He should probably be more clear if that’s not what he actually means.

It is important to note that Junior is just peddling his dad’s garbage. He is a political scientist with a post in an environmental program, teaching policy essentially. Senior is a meteorologist.

I’ve been trying to figure out why that name was so familiar, and now it makes sense!

Nice to have the ‘right-wing by association’ on the other side for a change. It’s exhausting having to remind everyone that, say, Tucker Carlson is not and will never be an ally of feminism just because he is actually transphobic.
