Point completely missed SIR. Point not even within striking distance SIR.
To put it another way, you’ve just gone on the record as happy to accept any and all bribes from any and all parties.
The issue is not whether or not you would like a free lavish gift. We know you would love a free lavish gift. We know you’re greedy. We know you’re corrupt. We know you’re reckless. We know your brain is a puddle of grease. You don’t need to tell us any of that.
The issue is that you’re not allowed to accept bribes. The issue is that you’re especially not allowed to take bribes from other countries.
This is a bribe, you dumb fuck. It’s not a loving present from people who admire you, it’s a massive public bribe. It’s not a “free airplane”; it’s a hook lodged deep in your throat for Qatar to reel in whenever it chooses.
And everyone you’re making “deals” with knows these things too. Your opponents, many of whom you stupidly believe respect and admire you, are counting on it. Your “character” is also not lost on your former allies, who, to varying degrees, used to respect and admire the United States (though likely never you). They cannot trust you, and thus can’t trust America. It’s one thing to run your own brand into the ground, but to do that to your country in the process is quite an accomplishment.
The lights are on but nobody’s home, AND you’re open for business. Not a good recipe for success at…anything.
They are giving Trump a gift because they recognize how awesome he is! At least that’s what Trump wants you to believe.
First up, it’s a blatant bribe, secondly it’s going to be absolutely stuffed with bugs. The Soviet bugged the American Embassy for 5 years with 1940s communist-era technology hidden inside a wooden carving. God only knows what you could do with modern tech and a whole “flying palace”, but we might all get to see the sequel of the pee tape.

Trump’s Cunning Plan is leaving all of these countries scrambling to curry favour with the Greatest, Most Powerful
countryman in the World. They bow down to Trump, and America gets to bask in the reflected glory of his Power and Greatness.What’s really happening is that more and more countries are trying to bypass Trump like they would a nasty pothole full of fetid water. They’re doing their best to create a world despite America; maybe even a world without America, since the America they used to know no longer exists, and may never return. The countries fawning outlandishly are trying to flatter and manipulate him for their own ends, but he’s too stupid to see that this is what’s going on. He’s got his hit of narcissistic buzz, and that’s all that matters. Trump’s at the wheel, and he’s got the pedal to the floorboards. The doors are locked, and America’s just along for the ride,
This echoes my argument to get people living in “First World” countries to stop referring to changes they don’t like as dragging their country into “Third World” status. These are leftover terms from the Cold War.
First World – USA and its friends, allies, tributaries.
Second World – USSR and its friends, allies, tributaries.
Third World—All other countries not aligned with 1 & 2. Of course, the USA led a campaign to despise those Third World countries for setting their course and not bowing down to the Almighty Uncle Sam. Think of South America, Africa, and Asia. Thus, Third World became shorthand for poor, underdeveloped, and politically inept, much of which was caused by USA interference, embargoes, pressure, and the overthrow of governments.
A lot of the World will be ecstatic if America, the one they used to know, no longer exists, and they can get along fine without it. A return to US isolationism is long overdue and welcome.
