Boo hoo
Updates on the latest ICE murder:
Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement that federal officers were conducting an operation as part of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
She said officers fired “defensive shots” after a man with a handgun approached them and “violently resisted” when officers tried to disarm him. O’Hara said police believe the man was a “lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.”
Are Trump and allies going to go all anti-guns now?
An angry crowd gathered after the shooting and screamed profanities at federal officers, calling them “cowards” and telling them to go home.
One officer responded mockingly as he walked away, telling them: “Boo hoo.”
So we should be happy when random people are murdered by the cops? We’re crybabies if we object? They’re going with that?

One (American) definition of a cop I once saw: ‘A small-time crook who is onto a soft racket.’
Two of the thugs were referring to the incident as “just like playing CoD,” Call of Duty. This was also on video. The administration is framing the incident, imprinting their version so that when people see the videos, they are influenced to doubt what they see, or to see it as they describe it. Similar to the Good murder, they framed the image as the victim trying to ram Ross and claim self-defense. People who I thought could be trusted to be skeptical claim that is what they see now, even though the wheels were turned away from Ross.
The state is in conflict with the Federal government, and the Minnesota National Guard have been called up but we don’t know exactly what role they are to play here. The State Highway Patrol were seen pushing people away from the scene as if they were engaging in riot patrol. The thugs are harassing actual cops. It’s the chaos that Trump wants, perhaps to prove to us that we are ungovernable and not capable of a democracy so that Thiel can usher in his dream of technocracy.
I know that many people are trying to figure out why we are pressing the process for the caucuses, conventions and elections, but we really do need to force their hand. If they try to stop the elections, or nullify when they lose the elections then we have cause to take it to the streets. The NRA has not stepped in when tyranny has arrived, which was their whole raison d’être but the Minnesota Gun Owners Association have come out against ICE.
Trump is losing the people, except those authoritarians who were never about freedom but always about supremacy.
