Awww, they’re disappointed – how sad.
Awwwwww, they’re disappointed; that’s so sad. Of course if they hadn’t cancelled an event organised by the Women’s Rights Network group then the WRN would have had no reason to file any papers, but awwwww anyway you poor shmucks.
The west Belfast festival organisers posted a public statement on social media saying the Respect, Rights & Reality event, which was part of the Féile programme, had been withdrawn as it was “promoting campaigns against rights for the transgender community”.
Liars. Of course it wasn’t.
However, the Women’s Rights Network issued a statement saying they were “shocked and deeply disappointed” by the decision.
Now JK Rowling has waded into the row, replying on X to the Women’s Rights Network that she “will help with legal costs”.
Fuck around and find out, eh?
