Three men were elected as MPs. Equality with what? My educated hunch is that Brazil’s parliament is not 50% women.

My hunch was not wrong.

Women hold 88 seats (about 17.2%) in the Chamber of Deputies and 18 seats (about 22.2%) in the Federal Senate of Brazil’s National Congress.

More trans women would not improve that ratio.
