Power is addictive, and he was just given too much, too fast. He’s got to hang on to the rush as long as he can in his dotage. And this is useful to the billionaire class, because while they think he is a fool they also realize that his cult-like appeal to enough of the Republican activists to keep him in charge will help them. Larry Ellison, for one, who introduced a new way to gather DNA from everyone using a single blood prick. (Sound Familiar?) He announced it from the White House in January of 2025. Ellison says we want this. And he’s a friend of Trump.
I’ve always thought that the Deep State conspiracy was silly, when in fact there are those who use the levers of government to gain wealth and data and with Trump in office their state doesn’t need to remain “deep.” They can afford to be blatant.
