At Oregon State University, an instructor filed a bias report against a student because his final project argued that there are only two sexes.
The instructor acknowledged that the student had consistently done well in the course, but [said] that his views were deemed “not in keeping with” the university’s values, and his project was escalated to multiple administrators.
It’s not in keeping with the university values to state an obvious, basic, significant truth about human beings and indeed other great apes, other primates, other mammals, and so on? It’s in keeping with the university’s values to lie about such a thing? And even to punish students for not lying about it? What the hell kind of university is that?
