How useful: a petition to universities to “Suspend Social Justice Courses” – !
Social justice has become scientifically illiterate, logically unsound, deeply bigoted and openly supremacist. Social justice professors are indoctrinating young people into a pseudoscientific cult behind closed doors that is doing damage to their health, education and future.
Social justice has become a victim of its own good intentions and in the desperate attempt to make the world better for some it is creating a world better for none. It has become another ideology fit only to pave the road to Hell, so it is time to turn around and choose another path that is concerned with reason, science and improving the lives of every human.
To clarify, we are calling for the teaching of social justice courses in universities to be temporarily suspended. What follows is up for debate, but as it stands now, social justice is causing far more harm than good and it must be halted and reassessed.
This must have been drawn up by someone who spends way too much time on Twitter and therefore thinks the right-wing term of art “Social Justice” (also a left-wing term of art but it’s obviously not being used as such here) is universally understood as such. You have to be pretty Twitter-confined to think a phrase like “social justice is causing far more harm than good” is going to make any sense to most people.

I think I tore an eye roll muscle…
It’s always interesting how the anti-SJW forces define their rights – the right to prevent people that don’t look or think like them from getting similar rights.
Essentially what they are saying is that the fight to strenuously deny ‘others’ the rights and opportunities they themselves enjoy, has distracted them from obliviously enjoying said rights. This has frazzled their chill or something.
Wanker.
I think it’s fucking hilarious that that guy is considered one of the brightest of the manosphere.
I spent the majority of my life at universities. And never once have I heard of a course entitled “Social Justice Course.” And never heard of any departments of Social Justice that would offer courses titled as such. This person is deluded. Next he will tell us that the sky is falling.
They warned me that social justice warriors would cause entire academic disciplines to be shut down because they were deemed “harmful.” And I didn’t believe them! Now I see the error of my ways.
I’m not a huge fan of other SJWs myself, but still…
The Service Learning courses are very social justice oriented. (Forced volunteer work combined with privilege awareness, and coursework on inequality… the only thing I object to is that they are requiring poor students, who are trying to do their course load and work and maybe raise a family too– this campus is *designed* to attract poor students, it’s the cheapest 4 year in the state– to do all the volunteer stuff and sit through being kind of shamed for class privilege that they don’t actually have by writers who have a fuckton more privilege.)
I definitely need an “OBEY” shirt. Sorry, everyone with an “our feelings” sign; I apparently demand… wait, what am I demanding again? Shouldn’t the megaphone have “OBEY” and the shirt have “SJW”? Wouldn’t that make slightly more sense”?
I see no people of color nor mobility challenged indivuals in that cartoon.
And how can we be SURE they aren’t flouncing ‘cis-privilege?’
Actually, the overt invocation of ‘biz’ and ‘military industrial’ is a sort of crumb trail to the Libertarian/Randroid fountainhead of deranged misogyny on the web.
