Also note that “will be eligible.” Not so fast, sonny. It doesn’t become true just because you use the future tense.
Also note that ludicrous “eligible” as if he’s talking about some well-established law as opposed to a stupid fantasy cooked in the meth lab that is Fox News. “Trummp will be eljabl for a extra turrrrm because we sed so.”
But cool that Huckabee was “named” to head up this non-existent eligibility-election, let’s hope it keeps him busy and out of trouble.
What are these people thinking? That when the reckoning comes we’ll all just forget about the roles they played propping this monster up?? I can’t believe they’re doubling, tripling, quadrupling, quintupling down on this ass.
I’ve spent a good amount of time savouring the idea that in the future these people will be grovelling and making excuses for their complicity, and in the meantime, the longer they hang on, the less forgiveness the worse the consequences they’ll face in the aftermath. In this regard I’ve thought specifically about Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and by extension her father in the Huckabee dynasty, and wondered what their post-Trump damage-control strategy would be. I honestly didn’t expect they’d just go all-in to infinity. Or maybe this is the part where they realize they’ve already gone too far and the only way to save themselves is to ensure there isn’t a post-Trump era? Is this the part where the Republic tips into an Empire?
DJT will never leave voluntarily. He wants to be a dictator. He is jealous of dictators. He is solidifying his slow-motion coup to become dictator-king-emperor.

Trump has talked about extending his term of office since the beginning as I remember it. He always claims after saying it that he’s joking, that he’s trying to provoke the press and trigger the liberals.He is not joking. He means it.
A mitigating factor right there is that he’s quite old for someone with his lifestyle… Generalissimo for life maybe, but not for long.
An important motivation to keep in mind is that Trump knows that once he leaves office, he can be charged for any number of crimes that he is currently evading charges for only by virtue of his office. Once he’s out of office and his pet A.G. is kicked swiftly and deservedly to the curb, he stands a good chance of spending the remainder of his pathetic life in court and then jail.
