Reading a book also not advised
High on the list of things not to do while driving. The Detroit Free Press:
Police say a man who was watching a movie on his phone has died in a car crash on a Detroit highway.
Clifford Ray Jones of Detroit was partially ejected through the sunroof when his 1996 Toyota rolled in the wee hours Sunday.
Fox 2 News reported that Michigan State Police said the man had been watching pornography and masturbating while driving. MSP also said he was not wearing pants at the time of the crash.
Driving is one of those activities that really does demand full attention.
In sharp competition with masturbation, presumably? Clash resulting in crash.
Or was he just practising driving stick?
Oh well, he’ll be with the 72 now … won’t he?
I find my mouth opening and closing with nothing coming out. Part of me wants to laugh, but this is still probably a tragedy, for the victim if nothing else. I’ll opt for tragic comedy. Proof that there is NOT a time and a place for everything.
Tragic as well as comical. Monumentally stupid thing to do, obviously. At least he failed to hurt anyone else in the process, which is a grave risk that by itself should have kept him from trying. So I feel this deceased does deserve mocking.
