The Obama administration is attempting to retrofit America with an Islamic identity the country never had. Had he actually quoted Thomas Jefferson’s views on Islam, he’d have been accused of islamophobia.
The Christian Science Monitor reporter who was held by Taliban for some months a while back described the eating habits of the gang who held her.
The women ate leftovers off the plates of men, while standing in the kitchen. When she had been imprisoned for only a few weeks, these same women began asking her if she wasn’t ‘ready to convert.’ Their sense of superiority, even under the heel of religious gangsters….
@4 Human beings can be ground down to the point where they really do feel inferior. It amazes me that these women would willingly endure such inhuman treatment. In these societies both men AND women are degraded creatures. Cultures that systematically demean and degrade women are cultures whose males are equally degraded and demeaned.
