No it was a pretty calculated “fuck you”. Otherwise, what is she chiding the media about: she doesn’t care about the outrage and the media shouldn’t? She doesn’t care about the reaction to her Potemkin Villiage propaganda exercise and the media shouldn’t either? She’s going to use the issue of child separation to pick a fight with media coverage…
There is no context that does not translate to a rich, white middle finger raised to everyone else.
Unless it indicates depression.
I don’t think I owe her that level of charity, at this point.
