Currently he’s bragging about picking a fight with Paula Radcliffe.

Hmmm. One of these things is (not supposed to be) like the others….
TERFs has generally been used derogatorily, though I gather that some people are beginning to wear it as a badge of honor.
Transphobe is certainly a pejorative.
But cis? I thought cis was supposed to be just the proper term for us non-trans folk, with no pejorative intended? You know, some folks are trans, and some are cis, but we’re all equal? So why is McKinnon spitting it out as the climax of a series of insults?
Imagine the parallels: “you are neoconservatives, you are islamophobic, you are JEWS” “you are communist, you are anti-white, you are BLACK” We would say the mask is slipping. Or in this case, that McKinnon’s, erm, slip is showing.
The projection is staggering.
Strange. I thought trans activists were against foisting sex terms on people against their will…?
McKinnon is getting pushback from within the bi/nb community for having made similarly sweeping comments about whether it was. Right to use bi, enby or pan to describe their sexuality. Actually strong negative feedback, to which she responds by fearlessly blocking people. McKinnon is not so much a philosopher as a thin skinned authoritarian.
McKinnon has been suspended from Twitter for the “die in a grease fire” tweet. Hopefully for longer than a few days.
He’s really ramping up the misogyny; cis as an insult? How dare you exist when I’m Woman 2.0?
This rant totally reminded me of Trump and the Republicans. “How dare you use our own words against us!”
