Thinking about some issues
Well, he denies it, but the reporter says he heard it, and another Rep doesn’t deny it but rather says he was thinking about other things.
Not really f*cking bitch but fucking bitch.
When a man says something like that to a woman…it sounds to her as if he’s longing to follow up with a punch. It doesn’t sound just mean or rude, it sounds threatening.
You’re sure it wasn’t “ficking bitch”? Because that would be totally different.
And for a statement that should be uncontroversial. Of course poverty and unemployment is contributing to the spike in crime. Why in the world would he try to pretend otherwise? She was saying something so banal* and so established by socioeconomic theory, it shouldn’t even be questioned.
*Not meaning to insult her by saying she is banal; it’s just what she was saying should be understood and shouldn’t have to be said.
