I saw a shrinkwrapped notice/sign stapled to a utility pole this afternoon with rainbows in the upper left and lower right corners, and the message:
ALL HUMANS ARE WELCOME
Citizens Unite!
We Do Not Discriminate
Based On Sex, Gender
Race, Creed, Age
Vaccination Or No
Vaccination
And below that, in much smaller type:
END THE MANDATES
Picture me rolling my eyes.
I took it down. We’re not supposed to staple things onto utility poles anyway.

If the sign on a utility pole is a plea to find a lost cat, well, that’s fine by me.
I’ve seen signs like that in store windows, though I think without the “End the Mandates” bit.
What frustrates me about these morons’ demands for ‘freedom’ is that they are essentially demanding that their freedom to swing their fists shouldn’t be curtailed by the presence of my nose.
tigger, that’s very like the TAs, right? Our rights are fungible, theirs are concrete and not to be debated. Same with anyone who doesn’t want to get COVID from an unvaccinated colleague who refuses to wear a mask.
