Wow, Laurel Hubbard out competed a 21 year old at the age of 43. In a sport where performance peaks at about age 26. Definitely nothing to do with being male though.

Oh huh, I just saw this! (I don’t vouch for its accuracy; I saw it as a random comment on Ovarit, here. I didn’t even bother to check the Wikipedia page from which it is, or claims to be, taken.)
In January 2019, Hubbard pleaded guilty to careless driving causing injury after an incident in October 2018 which left another driver with severe spinal injuries. She paid reparations and was disqualified from driving for one month. The presiding judge also ordered that Hubbard’s name be suppressed to avoid distressing publicity as she trained for the Olympics.
At least the Stuff website uses his chosen pronouns, wouldn’t want to harm the lad, he looks so fragile in the video. Is negligent driving a precondition for these trans dudes, or what?

@5 Ugh, this reminds me so much of Brock Turner (although premedidated rape is obviously worse than negligence in driving).
