Now that’s where the real danger comes; it isn’t only the demagogues. It’s the ones who encourage them, who’ll do anything in the world to win an election. They’re just as bad.

WaM, that reminds me of friends of mine who wouldn’t vote for Hillary because she was ‘too ambitious’. But she was hardly as ambitious as GOP members who will do anything to win – even sanction insurrection.
Of course, my friends wouldn’t have voted for Lindsay Graham, either, even if they lived in his state. They are liberals.

You’re forgetting that you have to multiply a woman’s ambition by 10 to convert it to the normal (i.e., men’s) ambition scale.
Any non-zero value for ambition means a woman has failed to put her needs in dead last, where they are supposed to be.
