The new wave of JKR-bullying continues to break over our heads.

Children's gender identity charity Mermaids has accused JK Rowling of being 'despicable' for revealing she has received rape and death threats for defending women's rights. Mermaids? Thank goodness we have an organization devoted to ensuring that children identifying as fish are celebrated and protected!

I don’t think that JKR would need to have someone tweet a pipebomb threat at her in order to get more book sales.

I just don’t.
