Wow, where to begin with that oblivious and entitled twerp. Not to mention the barely latent misogyny and contempt he clearly holds for women who dare to disagree with him (and I’ll bet it won’t be restricted to the GC topic).
Let’s consider the “facts don’t care” claim as that loops back to his first tweet. Sure facts don’t care about your feelings and it’s fine to correct a woman when she is wrong about facts. Of course how you do that in the context of a particular discussion might be relevant. but what ‘facts’ are we talking about here? I suspect he’s referring to the absurd TWAW, which his ilk declare to be a fact. But that would be like someone declaring that Biden (or Trump) was a good President. It’s not a fact, it’s an opinion, and one that many people will hotly dispute or support.
On the other hand it is a fact that people claiming to be trans or NB or GF have committed crimes against vulnerable women and girls in the exact circumstances that GC women predicted would occur. It’s also a fact that women and girls have been displaced from sporting podiums exactly has GC women predicted, despite assurances initially from the trans movement that that sort of thing would never happen. OK, rarely happen. Ok, it happens, but not that much. Ok, it happens a fair bit, get over it BITCH!
The idea that women who have fought at significant personal cost to achieve even a semblance of equality are somehow acting under the cover of patriarchy is absurd. Of course that’s just my opinion, not a fact.
The claim that women assault trans people at ‘orders of magnitude’ greater than the reverse is absurd on its face, and is completely unsupported by evidence. It’s expressed as a fact, but isn’t even an opinion, it’s just an obnoxious fart in a public place.
And then the claim that any GC feminist is part of a right-wing ploy smear, with the added sauce of no true Scots woman. What an arsehole. Fact or opinion?

My husband would not presume to tell me how to vote, how to believe, or how to act. He does agree with me on many instances of the trans issue, but he did not tell me how to think or talk about it; he only thinks or talks about it mostly because it has become an in your face issue.
There is a word: patriarchy. I do not believe this man knows what that means.
As for assault? This is a stepped up claim. They used to use this claim to mean that women inspired men to assault trans. He is saying “physically assault”. That’s a much bigger claim. It brings up the impression of some little old lady hitting a big huge young brute of a male “woman” on the head with her umbrella, but I think it’s safe to say even that is not happening much, if at all, and certainly not “orders of magnitude” greater than TWs assault women. He needs his feet held to the fire. Show us evidence. Videos for a start, but they must be real, not speculation or edited to show what you want to show.
This movment is so ripe for MRA’s and they continue to prove eager to fill an unwanted niche for men who speak over women no matter what.
This guy deserves both cramps and diarrhea more than he does acknowledgment for is role in femninism.
Every once in a while one of these misogynist twerps spurts out a rant that lays out all the hatred they normally try to keep hidden.
Not only does young master Baron insist that all women must agree with him on the definition of feminism, but he insists that if they don’t, then they are imposing the patriarchy. Not him, the man who is telling women what they are allowed to think, but them, women who refuse to listen to a man. That, per Aidan, is the true patriarchy.
This argument reminds me of the schoolyard taunt “I’m rubber, you’re glue! Words bounce off me and stick to you!” No, the man telling woman what to think isn’t representing the patriarchy; he’s rubbery liberation, if only those damn women would listen. Boioioing!
The silly little fellow can’t even keep his words straight. First he claims British feminism excludes a kind of women (and, in doing so, somehow slavery something…), but then his obvious distaste for the W word takes over, and it’s all “trans people” from there on out. Of course, that slavey, husbandy old British feminism is perfectly happy to include the subset of trans people which are women. It’s just the men who are trans people who aren’t included as women. But Baron can hardly bring himself to say “women” except as a sort of curse word. Oh, holy trans people, put upon by those horrible, aggressive, perpetrating… women.
Is this young fellow so unfamiliar with being outside that he imagines great packs of aggressive, perpetrating women roam up and down the streets looking for nebbishy ideologues with blue hair? Is this what his (slavey, husbandy) mommy told him would happen if he goes outside? And which people are these hardcore feminist street thugs beating up, the trans people who are women or the trans people who are men? Where is this immense amount of physical assault Aidan thinks women are committing? Video after video, event after event, arrest after arrest has trans-identifying men committing physical assault against women. Day after day. Where is any demonstration of it happening in the other direction? He’s a paramedic; do you think his ambulance is picking up scores of trans people who have been physically assaulted by women?
I suspect it’s simply that Baron believes that not only can he insist women agree that they’re not feminists, he is, and he’s not the patriarchy, they are, but that he’s not of the violent cohort, they are. Rubber, glue, QED.
The stubborn facts about violence include that men commit violence at much greater rates than women do. And that doesn’t change at all when these men become trans people. Still men, still violent at higher rates, still on average bigger and stronger than women. And no, those facts don’t give a damn about Aidan Baron’s feelings.
Heaven help the woman who gets picked up in Aidan Baron’s ambulance.

Physical assault? You’ve got to be kidding. Where are all these cases of women physically attacking either men pretending to be women, or women pretending to be men?
TAs and their “allies” always throw in women’s faces, “how many trans people do you know? Bet you don’t know any. If you got to know trans people, you would understand. Educate yourself.” Women are busy physically assaulting all these trans people that they’ve never even met. Neat trick.
Given the general sloppy untruthfulness and hyperbole of the rest of his little screed, he probably doesn’t even realize that his “orders of magnitude” accusation means that in his little world, women physically assault “trans people” at a rate hundreds of times greater than the rate in the opposite direction. Citation fucking needed indeed.
YNnB, I’ve come to realize over the years, not just from my students but far too many of my fellow faculty, that the phrase “orders of magnitude” just means “lots” to most people. Like, if you have 100 chickens, and you add 3, that would be “orders of magnitude” for way too many people.
