We know that female athletes lose performance between the ages of 45-55. We know that this is the effect of peri/menopause.
I know how hard it can be to try and manage tiredness, erratic biology, anxiety, soreness. To have to battle with the weights to protect your bones.

When the IOC first said it was OK for males to compete in female sport, they justified it by saying it was only recreational/Masters categories likely to be impacted.
Because to them, women like Paula James are collateral damage.

Agree 100%. I am 49. Life, never mind running fast, is hard for females in this age group. I am also the British marathon record-holder for 35-40 age group. If a male stole this record from me, I swear I cannot put into words how my blood would boil with fury.
