Also interesting that he went with a story of how a Scary Black Man broke in and did the stabbing.
@1: Link? I didn’t find any articles that said that he claimed that the killer was a black man.
Piglet & GW: a misreading or misquoting, perhaps? The police were told the home had been invaded by “two suspects wearing all black and ski masks” and/or (different sources, no direct quotes from police that I noticed) “two male intruders wearing ski masks”.
Incidentally it is rather jarring to read articles calling the shooter’s initial claims a “web of lies” and “fake story” while also deferring to the same shooter’s delusions by referring to him as “her”.
I’m interested in how the man pretending to be a woman would have known the intruders were male – did they break in with no pants on? Or wearing pronoun badges?
