Not a black child in sight! How nice & white those children are! How innocent! How obviously intelligent & eager to learn their lessons! And how readily manipulated by that simpering misrepresentation of Frederick Douglass.
It amuses me when people who are eager to leap to the defence of Florida’s educational ‘standards’ regarding the teaching of history, and who even on occasion cherry-pick a quotation (without context) from Frederick Douglass to support their prejudices, sit in silence when this kind of travesty is perpetrated.
