In Edinburgh the University actually helped the protesters prevent women from getting in, before piously announcing it was forced to cancel the screening because of the protests the university itself assisted.

The university built a large protected area round the door for them with barricades, which meant that most of the time most of the people who would otherwise had to have been blocking the door were nowhere near it. They let them come and go through the barricades.
