A campaign group has lost its appeal against a legal judgement relating to gender balance on public boards.
The Court of Session has ruled trans women with a gender recognition certificate do count when ensuring females take up half the posts.
So boards can be 100% men as long as 50% of them say they are women. HahahahaHA women back to the 19th century for YOU.
It’s utterly disgusting.

JFC. One step forward, two steps back.
Of all situations with problems, this is the worst option. You acknowledge there’s a problem, pretend to fix it, and make sure no one’s actually allowed to fix the real problem.
People will look back one day and wonder how so many people made themselves so stupid over this. Another “Extraordinary Popular Delusion[] and the Madness of Crowds.”
And the obvious answer will be “Because it’s only women so who cares.”

And maybe just one tippy toe forward. That BBC report is surprisingly free of TRA bollocks.
The solution, as some local political groups have done, is to ensure balance between “non-men” and “non-women.”
